Two lines, and only one is yours
CallForMe calls the Fort Bend probation color line at 281-238-3668. Fort Bend County's own website lists only its main office number and does not publish a testing line, so the number that governs you is the one on your paperwork. Fort Bend runs a separate line for pretrial supervision, and CallForMe does not call that one. If your paperwork names the pretrial line, or any other line, tell us and we will work on adding it.
How the color line works
The line plays a recording that reads out the color for that day, once in English and once in Spanish. It is read on the days the county runs the line, and your paperwork says which days those are. If it is your color, you test that day. If it is not, you do not.
CallForMe calls the line and listens to the recording. Then we call, text, or email you with what the recording read. That is the whole mechanism. We have no separate source and no access to your case.
Your color comes from your officer, not from us
Your officer assigns your color. We do not assign colors, and we have no way to look yours up. If you do not know your color, or are not sure it is still current, check your paperwork or ask your officer. We compare what the recording read against the color you already have.
The call window
The recording does not say what hours the line takes calls. Your paperwork does. When the recording reads a color, it also says where and when to report that day, and we pass that along with the color.

What happens if you miss
A missed check-in or a missed test is usually treated like a failed test and can be reported to your officer as a violation. What happens after that is up to your officer and the court. If you miss a day, contact your officer right away and follow their instructions.
When a call does not go through
Phone lines fail and recordings are not always clear. When CallForMe cannot complete the check-in, we tell you the check-in could not be completed, and you call the line yourself that day. You are still responsible for following the rules of your case.
