MyCallIn in Michigan: Daily Drug Test Check-Ins

Some Michigan courts use a system called MyCallIn to tell you whether you have a drug test today. Here is how the phone line and the website work.

What MyCallIn is

MyCallIn is a drug testing notification system. Courts that use it give you an ID number when you start. Each day, you either call your court's notification line or go to mycallin.com and enter your last name and ID number. The system tells you whether you have to test that day.

Not every Michigan court uses MyCallIn. Some use their own lines or other companies. Your instruction sheet from the court tells you which system applies to you.

How the phone line works

Cheboygan County's 89th District Court publishes its instructions, and they show how the system works step by step:

Cheboygan County (89th District Court) notification line: (231) 597-5156

You can also check at mycallin.com. This number is for Cheboygan County only. Other courts have their own numbers, so go by your own paperwork.

When you call, the system walks you through it:

When to call

Courts set a daily window, usually in the morning. In Cheboygan County the call is required every day of the week during the morning window. If you call too early, the system tells you it is too early. If you call too late, it tells you to call back the next day, and you may have missed your check for that day.

If the line is busy or down, that is not an excuse. The court says to keep trying until you get through, or to use mycallin.com instead.

What happens if you miss

A missed check or a missed test usually gets reported to your probation officer or the court, and it can count as a violation. What happens next is up to them. If you miss a day, contact your officer right away, explain what happened, and follow their instructions.

Keeping up with it

The system itself is simple. The grind is doing it every morning without fail, for as long as your case requires. CallForMe calls your check-in line for you each day and tells you what it said by text, email, and phone call. If it is your day to test, you know early, while there is still time to plan.

Common questions

What is MyCallIn?

A drug testing notification system some Michigan courts use. You call a line or check mycallin.com daily with your ID number, and it tells you whether you test that day.

What does the line say?

After confirming your ID and last name, it says either "You are required to test today" or "Do not test today," repeated three times.

When do I call?

During your court's daily window, usually in the morning. Too early and it says so. Too late and it tells you to call back the next day.

What if the line is busy?

Keep trying until you get through, or use mycallin.com. A busy line does not excuse a missed check.

What if I miss a day?

Contact your probation officer right away. A missed check or test can count as a violation, and your officer decides what happens next.
