What you have to do
Every day, call 936-283-4848 and enter your PIN.
It says one of two things. Test today. Or don't test today.
That's the whole thing. About thirty seconds.
Thirty seconds today. Thirty seconds tomorrow. Thirty seconds on Christmas, on your birthday, on the day you start a new job. For as long as your supervision lasts. Nobody gets a day off from remembering.
When you can call
Every day, seven days a week, from 6:00 in the morning until 4:59 in the afternoon. Weekends. Holidays. Days you're sick.
Where your PIN comes from
Your officer gives it to you. The county says it's on your Bond or Probation ID.
If you don't have it yet, or you lost it, ask your officer. Don't guess, and don't use somebody else's.
If it says test
You have to be at the lab that same day, before it closes. Not before midnight. Before it closes.
The hours are different at each site, and one of them isn't open every day. Check before you drive.
And you can't just pick whichever one is closer. The county's own sheet says you have to be assigned to a location to test there. Ask your officer which one is yours.

The day you miss won't be the day you expect
Today it is easy to remember. It is the newest thing in your life.
The day you miss is an ordinary day. You pick up a double and they don't let you have your phone on the floor. Your kid gets sick and you're in a waiting room until four. Your phone gets shut off because the bill's late. It's a Sunday and every day has looked the same for a month.
You call at 5:10 and the line's already closed.
What a missed call-in means in your case is between you, your officer and your court order.
